Terms of Service
The essentials you need to know when RSVPing to our events. We've kept the legalese to a minimum because we believe in clarity.
About This Platform
Riding for Rocket is a fundraising platform supporting cancer research through Tour de Cure. We organize and manage events where friends, family, and supporters come together to raise funds for this important cause.
This platform is run by volunteers and event organizers. When you RSVP or purchase tickets, you're directly supporting our charitable mission.
RSVPs and Tickets
When you RSVP to an event:
- β’Your spot is reserved β Once you RSVP, we count you in for catering, seating, and event planning
- β’Accurate information required β Please provide correct details so we can contact you about event updates
- β’One ticket per person β Each attendee should have their own registration for safety and catering purposes
- β’Tickets are non-transferable β If you can't attend, please let us know rather than sending someone else
Payments and Pricing
All proceeds go to charity. Ticket prices cover event costs (venue, catering, etc.) with any surplus donated directly to cancer research through Tour de Cure.
- β’Secure payments β All transactions are processed by Stripe with bank-level security
- β’Prices in AUD β All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars and include GST where applicable
- β’Pay later option β Some events allow you to RSVP now and pay closer to the event date
- β’Table host payments β Table/team hosts can pay for themselves and invite others to pay separately
Cancellations and Refunds
We understand plans can change. Here's our policy:
- β’Cancellations 7+ days before β Full refund available. Contact us and we'll process it within 5-7 business days
- β’Cancellations within 7 days β Refunds at organizer discretion, as catering and venue costs may already be committed
- β’No-shows β We cannot provide refunds for no-shows, as your spot has been catered for
- β’Event cancellation by organizers β If we cancel an event, you'll receive a full refund automatically
Can't make it? Even if you're outside the refund window, please let us know. We may be able to offer your spot to someone on the waitlist, and we can often work something out for future events.

- β’You're the point of contact β You'll receive updates to share with your guests
